Not all abusers who do psychological warfare are narcissists, but it is common. What all abusers I have ever heard of do is having the public face. They have this mask, this version that they put in public, but it is all fake. The really insidious ones find ways to make their victims believe the mask is the truth, instead of the lie.

Soon, life becomes so muddled it becomes nearly impossible as the person stuck in the middle to understand where the reality is and where the facade begins. Being able to recognize it is sometimes even more terrifying then not being able to see it. They say ignorance is bliss. I wouldn’t say it is bliss, but it does allow you to not know the monster that is looking at you like lunch. If you find yourself questioning why their behavior is different in front of different people, be worried. Cue the red flag guy. And pay artists, I just can’t, so AI has to be enough
