Narcissistic abuse is unique in that it is some of the worst and yet most difficult to see and place. In Ireland coercive control has been legally criminalized, and can land an abuser in jail for 5 years. The UK is considered the pioneers on coercive control laws. France jumped on board too, expanding the concept to psychological and mental violence. The Netherlands have created specialized evidence gathering protocols. I think that last one is one of the most vital because psychological abuse is some of the most difficult to prove. I would say that the US needs to catch up, but I don’t care what side of the political aisle you are on, no one is happy right now. Gas prices like this means nobody is happy. When it is this bad, we definitely are not progressing.
